Surgical Referral Service (Veterinary Emergency Clinic of London) was established in 1996 and is a London-based provider of veterinary services. Patients are referred to the clinic through their current veterinarian; as SRS doesn’t market to end-users directly.
Under the leadership of Dr. Gary R. Bouck, the clinic is looking to expand their services and stimulate growth to a point where volume could sustain another Doctor. One of the marketing factors being considered for this initiative is the creation of a professional web site.
Requirements
It is the desire of the SRS administration that a strategic plan for the creation of a web site be created along with a tactical, rollout schedule in order to accomplish both short-term goals and have the scalability to realize long-term objectives.
Solution
The revised web site has become a multi-purpose resource for the two different types of visitors (referring Doctor’s & pet-owners with an upcoming scheduled surgery) to both the website, and ultimately the facility.
The CMS (content management system) capabilities allow designated staff members to manage some of the ongoing changes to the website internally – without having to rely on an outside company.
