Porky's BBQ & leisure, a London based retailer of BBQ products and services, provides clients with BBQ's, indoor and outdoor fireplaces as well as after market service. webAssist was engaged to provide a website that offered an online version of their retail location and products for sale.

Requirements

It is the desire of PORKY’S that a local web partner be selected to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the web site along with a tactical, multi-phase rollout schedule in order to identify, set, and accomplish both short-term goals & long-term objectives.
The new web site will become an integral part of PORKY’S’s existing marketing mix by offering information on the extension line of products carried in-store, in addition to the emerging services offered (such as fireplace installation and re-facing).

Solution

Full website with audio, high-resolution seasonal graphics and content management system modules to allow the end-user to read current product information and specials. A database driven self-maintenance option that allows for easy editing of some of the content on the web site with little or no technical skills using a CMS (Content Management System). This functionality will enable the client to perform the majority of web site maintenance such as adding/editing/deleting page content & files – without having to rely on an outside company.
